This seems the `unequivocal result of the analysis of data from a study conducted in Japan last September, ministry of health labor and welfare.
This is a survey that since 2004, takes place every two years and in 2010 and has been administered to approximately 3000 people of both sexes and ages between 16 and 49 years. Of those surveyed 57.2% responded.

18% of men surveyed said they "have no interest or have aversion to sex (+8% compared to 2008), while women who have given this type of rispota are 48% (+ 11% compared to 2008).
Among adolescents aged 16 to 19 years, who responded have no interest in sex are 58.5% of girls and 36.1% of boys . Compared to 2008 the percentage is increased to entrmbi sexes but in the case of boys and is more that doubled : they were respectively 46.9% and 17.5% in 2008.
also increased the percentage of couples "sexless" defined as those who do not have sex for periods of one month or more. These are 40.8%, but in the case of couples aged 40 and over are almost 50%.
